Easter Fun with our Chocolate Bark Recipe

We’re stepping into the kitchen to create a family friendly recipe for Easter using our deliciously smooth and creamy, farm made chocolate. We’ve teamed up with ingredients experts Whitworths to create our Easter chocolate bark, which is not only easy to make but is great for sharing and gifting.

A few ingredients is all you need to get started, and it’s perfect for keeping the kids entertained over the holidays!

Ingredients:

  • 2 x 120g Mackie’s Traditional Chocolate
  • 1 x 120g Mackie’s Dark Chocolate
  • 3 x 25g Whitworths SHOTS
  • Chocolate Eggs

 

 

Method:

  1. Line a shallow baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Melt Mackie’s Traditional chocolate in the microwave for 20 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and pour into the baking tray.
  3. Melt Mackie’s Dark chocolate in the microwave for 20 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted. Drizzle over the Traditional chocolate and use a cocktail stick or skewer to swirl and ripple together.
  4. Scatter with Whitworths SHOTS of your choice and chocolate eggs, pressing lightly into the chocolate, then place the baking tray flat in a fridge.
  5. Allow to chill for 20 mins before breaking into ‘bark’ pieces.

 

Now tuck in and enjoy with a cuppa or break into smaller pieces to bag up and gift for Easter.
