Mackie’s scoops 4 Great Taste Awards 24 September 2021 Our mission is to make simple delicious, and we are thrilled to have just been awarded not one but FOUR Great Taste Awards for doing just that! Four of our ice creams: Traditional, Organic, Scottish Tablet and Salted Caramel each received awards from the Great Taste Awards for being ‘simply delicious’ and a food that ‘delivers fantastic flavour’. The judges described our best-selling Traditional ice cream as “ clean and simple allowing the milk and cream to sing’”. The Organic was “very well balanced but also had the ‘dense quality’ of good ice cream”. Our Scottish Tablet was described as “smooth, creamy but with plenty crunch with pieces of delicious tablet”, and our Salted Caramel was found to have the ‘balance of salt and sweetness like a beautiful marriage.’ We always aim to provide the highest standard of products and it is an absolute delight to be recognised in this way.
