Double win at Scotland’s Top Employer Awards 2 November 2026 We’re delighted to have been named Scottish Top Employer of the Year, as well as taking home the Employer Brand of the Year award at The Herald & s1jobs Top Employer Awards 2026. The two awards are a fantastic recognition of our team and our commitment to making Mackie’s a great place to work, where people feel valued and have opportunities to develop throughout their careers. The awards were presented at a ceremony at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel, where businesses from across Scotland came together to celebrate some of the country’s best workplaces. The Employer Brand of the Year award also celebrated the work we’ve done to build Mackie’s reputation as a great place to work. As we’ve grown as a business, we’ve continued to invest in our people while staying true to the family values that have always been at the heart of Mackie’s and our home here at Westertown Farm in Aberdeenshire. Our double win follows another recent success at the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards, where our Full Cream Ahead campaign was named Food & Drink Campaign of the Year. Alongside our continued investment in people, we remain committed to our farming heritage, producing ice cream using fresh milk supplied by our own herd of more than 300 cows and harnessing renewable energy through wind, solar power and biomass here, on our Aberdeenshire farm. We’re incredibly proud to add these latest awards to the Mackie’s cabinet, but most importantly, they’re a reflection of the people behind our business.
