Announcing our ‘new look’ for chocolate

We’re delighted to announce the re-launch of our chocolate range with a colourful new design – featuring an illustration inspired by the view from the farm. Line up your bars to see the full illustration!  You will also recognise Mackie’s new brand logo with our dairymaid and cow from our ice cream range – which is now nice and clear on the front of our chocolate bars too.

Over 700,000 chocolate bar sales have been recorded so far this year which resulted in an 8% growth compared to the previous year. The best-selling product was Honeycomb milk chocolate, whilst the fastest growing flavour was Orange milk chocolate. Orange is back by popular demand – in time for Christmas!

We hope that you’ll enjoy being able to find the chocolate more easily as we have increased availability in Scottish Sainsbury’s, Asda and Coop as well as many independents. If you are not near a stockist – then remember that you can also order direct from us – here in the shop.

We recently revealed the new packaging design on our ice cream tubs and website after consumer research led to the creation of a fresh new look. The revamped design focuses on key attributes of the dairy farm heritage and the simple, natural dairy ingredients in our ice cream – while retaining key elements of the original brand – like the dairymaid, blue colour and tub shape.
