In 2009 Mackie’s of Scotland launched a new range of thick cut potato crisps – another indulgent treat and affordable luxury! This exciting new foray out of the freezer has been made possible in a joint venture between Mackie’s and Taypack – another family owned farming business in Scotland. Taypack is based on the Taylor family farm Moncur in Perthshire and is one of the UK’s leading potato growing and processing businesses. Together Mackie’s at Taypack work all the way from potato seeds through to the final product.
