Rhona Wight, Production Manager

The ice cream dairy and its management is a vital component to the success of our business. Rhona formerly worked in quality and laboratory quality checks in the milk retail business. She first started work with Mackie's bottling milk in 1983.

Rhona now has a team of 30 working in production, packing and engineering maintenance in the ice cream dairy. Her attention to detail and drive has created an enviable standard and close-knit team. She is an internal assessor as part of the ongoing training scheme which includes award of National Vocational Accreditations.

Her achievements include continual increase in production, adaption and improvement of systems, BRC higher level, and ability to incorporate change and take on new projects. Her latest achievement can be seen in the new ice cube production facility.
