Mackie’s ‘extra posh’ range is an especially smooth and creamy ice cream available in three classic, yet super indulgent flavours.
Treat yourself to Madagascan Vanilla, Toffee Fudge or Belgian Chocolate. Look out for the black 500ml tubs with striking, extra posh, portraits of Mackie’s jersey cows in tiaras - we have given them suitably posh names too - Dame Victoria of Rothienorman (Madagascan Vanilla), Duchess Fiona of Corehill (Toffee Fudge) and Lady Charlotte of Westertown (Chocolate). It's seriously good ice cream served up with a bit of fun. Lady Charlotte is particularly proud about the Great Taste Gold Star which her flavour was awarded.
Why “extra posh”?
We had to be able to tell you and show you that this range is a little bit more special. We hope that you will agree when you taste the ice cream. The name was generated when you told us that Mackie’s existing ice cream is already "posh" because it is a luxury, real dairy ice cream. We checked on the definition of (colloquial adjective) ‘Posh’ in the Oxford and Cambridge dictionaries and it includes superb, stylishly luxurious, and altogether superior. That’s why we’ve gone ahead and called this one “Extra Posh” - and commissioned portraits of our Jersey cows with tiaras. We hope that these striking black tubs are a bit different and introduce the link to our cows with a little bit of humour.
